Penningtons Manches Cooper adds family law partner from Mishcon de Reya, hire brokered by Mimoza Fleur

UK law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper has added a new family law partner.

Emma Willing has joined the law firm from rivals Mishcon de Reya and will be based in the latter’s Guildford office.

Ms Willing has worked at Mishcon de Reya since 2009 and was promoted to partner in November last year. Prior to joining Mishcon she worked at Mayfair-based boutique family law specialist firm Camilla Baldwin Solicitors from 2007 to 2009, having trained at Penningtons Manches Cooper beforehand.

Ms Willing’s appointment was brokered by Somaya Ouazzani, chief executive of Mimoza Fleur, who told eprivateclient: “Emma’s move to the Penningtons’ Guildford office is another example of the rapidly emerging new generation of family partners doing things differently and achieving success in and outside of London.

“Guildford, like Oxford, remains an excellent location from which previously London based partners can continue to grow their practices without losing their London cache and whilst capitalising on the high quality of work available.
