Our client is extremely well known for the work it does within the private wealth sector overall and has retained us to look for a Private Client Team Leader to join its busy Oxford team.
The role is Oxford based but the work largely derives from the HNW community in and around Oxford and, London. It’s family, private client and prime residential property team provide an excellent internal source of work combined with the very high quality work that its private client team undertakes.
The successful candidate will be experienced in advising HNW individuals, families and trustees on a broad range of private wealth, tax and trust matters, with a core focus on wealth and succession planning for UK and international families, including remittance and pre-immigration planning, tax-efficient financial arrangements post-divorce and administering complex estates. The successful candidate will also have experience in advising family businesses and have strong management and leadership abilities and confidence to supervise junior colleagues.
Candidates with additional tax qualifications are of significant interest, for example, those candidates that have gained the specialist STEP diploma, CTA or ATT. The successful candidate does not require a following given the team’s high quality workflows. Experience as a partner is preferred but not a prerequisite. Candidates can be senior associates, legal directors and/or previous team leaders. Excellent technical ability, exposure to privately funded good quality work and, leadership experience is required.
This opportunity offers flexible working, a 4-day week, and a meaningful work from home policy, if desired. Compensation on offer is up to £120,000.
